Pierre's dad is called Real and his mother is called Louise. He has two brothers, Jay and Jonathan. Not a long time ago, Jay had a cancer and Pierre wrote the song Save you for him. Some people say that this song saved his brother's life.
Before Simple Plan, Pierre was the lead signer of the group Reset. He played with Chuck and left the group in 1998 to focus on his academic career. One year later, Pierre started a new group with Chuck, Jeff and Seb, who he met in high school. They all went to Beaubois together in Montreal.
